Dave and Millie

This is us! I think this is one of the only pictures of me on this blog? There is a reason that I am always the one BEHIND the camera....I hate having my picture taken.

Grandpa and Bodee

This is one of my favorite photos. It is Christmas morning and we were at Ryan and Susie's house looking at all the stuff that Santa brought Bodee and he was more interested in his book than in the life size Ford pickup truck that he got. It was cute how they snuggled up to read.

Christmas 2008

Okay I gotta post something or Susie is going to have a come apart!! So here is a picture of all the kids sitting on the stairs at the annual Tesch Christmas Eve dinner and birthday cake party. Our tradition is to have chicken noodle soup and birthday cake (for Jesus) and then let all the kids open their presents. It is always a blast and the kids look forward to it all year long (so do we!)

Madison Camille Housley

I went to Jen's house one day and Maddi was outside playing and she was climbing in the tree looking all cute and I had my camera in the car (shocking I know!!) and she was being her usual poser self. Jenny and I were laughing our heads off because she was so serious about posing and some of her poses were hilarious!

Doug and Wendie

I was going through some photos and I came across these pictures of Doug and
Wendie and I had forgotten about them and I really liked them so I decided to post them. These were taken at a baby blessing at Monte's house and I remember how hot it was and we were all dying but how would it be to look so good in 100 degree weather?

Maddi and Elli

Once again here are the two girls that never miss an opportunity to get their mugs on the blog. I swear they are a mess!!

Sweet Jenny

I love this shot of Jenny. She doesn't like her picture taken and I am always trying to bamboozle her. We were at one of Cody's games and she was just sitting there so I sneeked (is that a word??) up on her and got a great shot. I love you baby!!

Coco and Luke

I love this picture of Coco and Luke. It was the 4th of July and we were all out on the lawn at my mom's house and it just turned out to be a right place , right time kind of photo.

Scab boy

Poor little Bodee took a dive a few days before the swim party so he has some battle wounds on his face. Susie and I tried several times to set up a time to take pictures of Bodee and every time we set a time and day Bodee would take another face plant and we would have to reschedule. We did that almost all summer!

Little Ashley

Ashley loved the slide in the water and I think she went down it a hundred times. She has the sweetest smile and cutest dimples ever. I think out of all the grandkids she might just have my little bit of mean streak and hopefully I can train her up to be a great prankster.

Mermaids

Christal and Taylor both loved the party and the water. They are both very good little swimmers and seemed to really have a great time with each other. We had to drag them out of the water when the party ended. Way fun day!

Brutha's

We had a free swim party at the Roy Aquatic Center for my work and the whole family came and we had a blast! Cody swims like a fish (I think he has gills?) and Ty was so cute in his "flippies" it was fun to show them off to the people that I work with.

Elli's first day of school

As you can see Elli's first day of school didn't go so well. She started all day kindergarten this year so it was a big change for her. Luckily things changed and she LOVES school and her teacher Mrs. Woods. She has a friend named Kadee and she likes a boy named John Henry because he let a fart in school.

Bodee-licious

These kinds of photos always turn out the best. The ones where no one expects a picture to be taken and you are able to catch the right shot of a child playing and you get the real expression and not a pose. Ryan was at the house putting in my new pathway and Bodee was with him and I was playing "trucks" on the lawn while Dave and Ryan worked. Hey by the way you two the job still needs to be finished!!! You're fired.

Maddi's first day of school

Maddi started preschool this year and she was so excited. She is so smart and loves to be with other kids. Jenny and Eric had to go to school with her the first day and I went over to take pictures and it was so funny to see them in the tiny preschool chairs (photos soon to be released) and covered in finger paints.

Splash Pad

The boys were gone hunting so the girls took the kids to the new splash pad to play in the water. The splash pad was a blast and the kids loved it! I even stood under the bucket o' water and let it fall right on my head. This is definitely a fun place to hang out.

I know, I know...it's been a while

I know that it has been a while since I have updated my blog but I have been a little busy AND I am another year older you know! This picture doesn't have one single thing to do with my blog other than it is a cool picture. Summer is gone and fall is on it's way out and that can only mean that winter is right around the corner and as bad as I hate July, I hate January worse! Why can't it stay October all year? Anyway I will try and stay on task with my updates....sheesh!

A couple of hams or what?

Here is a perfect example of two girls hammin ' it up! This was at my mom's house just before the fireworks show. This little show was better than any fireworks!!

Luke

Luke is getting more shy about posing for me so I have to take the opportunity to shoot when he isn't ready for me. Sometimes they turn out the best. I think they say that natural is better...or is that only about vegetables...or beer??? Oh well.

Madison

Maddi was dancing around in her little sundress acting like a princess. She isn't real keen on pictures so when she will pose I have to take advantage of it. She likes to tell me where, when, and how we are going to take her picture. I wonder where she learned that??

Baseball has been a very, very good to me!!

Cody is a sports freak! He can play any sport and play it very good. This time it was baseball and he is a very good player. He can field the ball, hit the ball, AND run like a cheetah. He is a natural athlete.

Taylor's Ink (sort of)

Taylor got her face painted at the carnival and it was really cool looking. I am all about "ink" so I really liked it. She looked really cute that day and she had a lot of fun.

Ty and his sweetie

We went to West Point Days to watch Cody's baseball game and Ty and his little friend came over by me and I asked her what her name was and she told me but I can't remember and she told me that she was Ty's girlfriend so I asked her if I could take their picture and as you can see neither one of them was shy about mugging for the camera. The funny thing was that they were best friends one second and the next time I saw them, Ty was crying because she hit him with a bat. I guess girls really do rule!!

Miss Elli

I love this picture of Elli, it has a "feeling" to it that I can't really describe but I like it. I think all the kids are getting sick of me always taking pictures of them. I don't know if they would even know who I was without a camera on my face. I'd be like....."hey who is she? she has 2 eyes instead of one big one!!" Oh well it is what it is.

Butta...fly

This picture happened by accident. It was a bright and sunny day as we traveled to our destination along the Idaho backroads which means that the restrooms are few and far between so when nature calls and your bladder is the size of a walnut....pee happens and you aren't picky about where you drop trail. So there I am minding my own business when all of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I see a fluttering if you will off to my left, I wasn't exactly in a position to see exactly what it was and knowing that we were in the wilderness I wanted to make sure that it wasn't a puma or a black mamba so I finished and got myself together just in time to make out the shape on the leaf as a pretty little butterfly and with my cat like reflexes I was able to get off a pretty good shot!!

One fish, two fish, three fish....four

Kevin and Elli were looking around in the river. I don't really have a lot to say about the picture other than it is way cute.....like them!!

Water girls

This is Colette and Elli in the river at the Box Canyon area where we launch the drift boats for a fun time fishing. Fishing is camping, and camping is evil, and evil should be erased so I say we NEVER go camping again!!! What did camping have to do with this sweet picture??? Wow it has been a long, long day.

He ain't heavy....he's my brother

This here is my brother Kevin and I thought it would be cute and a little corny to have his picture by Parker (his son) since they are both in cowboy hats. And they look suspiciously like the same hat??? Kevin is my favorite brother (did I mention that he is my only brother?) Kevin is a big strong man with an even bigger heart. I am honored to be his sister and I know that he loves me more than Coco.

Parker

This is Parker (my nephew) and we recently went to Island Park, Idaho for our yearly family outting to fish and hang out together. Now I know what you are thinking....doesn't Millie hate camping? and the answer is "hell yes I hate camping!!" but you do what you gotta do when it comes to your family right? And I figure I can put up with anything for 3 days. Anyway Parker is about the sweetest, nicest and kindest young man that I know, even if I weren't related to him I would love him. And man oh man he wears the hat like a true cowboy....love ya Parks!!!

Dutch the beer drinking dog

This is Dutch. Dutch is the devil. Dutch bites. Dutch takes you out at the knees. Dutch digs holes. Dutch eats EVERTHING. Dutch is my dad's best friend. Dutch was rescued from a car in the hot, hot sun. The temp. inside the car was 110 and he was near death and in severe distress. Animal control broke into the car and saved Dutch and my dad adopted him. I am pretty sure that Dutch suffered some ill effects of the sun that day and that is why he is semi-retarded. Oh yeah and Dutch likes beer.

some of my favs

I love to take pictures of flowers. Tulips are my favorite and I wish I had a field full of them. I am going to get a new camera soon and I am going to make sure that it has a macro zoom on it so that I can get very close to my subject. Like I said, I like tulips....

The future of the company 2020

This is the future of the landscape company. As you can see not everyone was too happy about standing still and smiling but that is what makes this picture so funny (looking) lol :)
